Brightwell Aquatics Florin-I is a concentrated iodine supplement designed to promote healthy molting and growth in freshwater and brackish aquarium crustaceans, such as shrimp, lobsters, and crabs. These invertebrates require iodine to properly shed their exoskeletons, allowing for proper development and avoiding molting issues. This supplement provides both time-released and free iodide, ensuring a steady supply of this critical element for long-term health.
Iodine is also essential for fish, as deficiencies can lead to issues like goiter. Florin-I helps prevent these problems by maintaining proper iodine levels in the aquarium. DIRECTIONS
1. Shake bottle for 3 - 5 seconds before use.
2. Initial Dose: Add 2 ml (1/2 capful or 1 pump) per 8 gallons (30 L) daily for 10 days.
3. If no molting occurs, increase by 2 ml per 16 gallons (60 L) daily.
4. After Molting: Maintain the same dose for 5 additional days.
5. Maintenance Dose: Reduce to 2 ml per 30 gallons (114 L) twice per week.
6. Important: Daily dosing is crucial to promoting proper molting.
