Brightwell Aquatics FlorinRedox is an advanced pond treatment designed to rapidly improve water clarity and quality by oxidizing excess organic material, such as fish waste and decomposing plant matter. By reducing nutrient buildup, it helps control conditions that contribute to poor water quality and algae problems. This formula is especially beneficial in heavily-fed and densely stocked ponds, where waste accumulation can be a challenge.
Unlike basic water clarifiers, FlorinRedox goes beyond simple particle binding by directly interacting with excess organic material, helping to minimize its impact on water conditions. It is particularly effective after fish stocking, overfeeding, or seasonal plant die-off. While it significantly aids in improving water quality, it should be used alongside proper pond maintenance, including mechanical waste removal and water changes.
DIRECTIONS
1. Shake well before each use.
2. Store above 50°F (10°C) in a cool, dry place.
3. Remove activated carbon and turn off ozone before dosing.
For Pond Treatment:
1. Add 5 ml (1 capful per 500 ml bottle) per 75 gallons of pond water.
2. Dose once daily for up to 7 days.
3. Wait at least 7 days before re-dosing if needed.
4. Expect temporary water discoloration; water clears as organics are oxidized.
5. Use activated carbon 1 hour after dosing to speed up the clearing process.
When to Avoid Use:
1. Do not dose within 12 hours of a water change over 25% of the total volume.
2. Do not use in ponds less than 30 days old.
3. Avoid using in ponds lacking visible organic waste.
4. Wait two days after adding new fish, plants, or invertebrates before dosing.
5. To neutralize immediately, add an equal dose of FlorinErase in high-flow areas.
