Brightwell Aquatics FlorinVolcanīt Rio Café-F is a premium volcanic substrate designed for planted tanks, shrimp biotopes, and soft-water aquariums. Its natural composition reduces GH and pH, creating the ideal conditions for Caridina shrimp, discus, tetras, and other tropical fish.
This high-porosity material supports strong root growth, improved nutrient uptake, and enhanced water circulation, making it an excellent foundation for lush, thriving planted tanks. Unlike standard aquarium gravel, FlorinVolcanīt Rio Café-F does not require rinsing and gradually stabilizes water chemistry.
It pairs perfectly with FlorinBacter, FlorinMulti, and other Brightwell supplements, ensuring a balanced, thriving ecosystem in freshwater aquariums.
DIRECTIONS
1. No rinsing needed before use.
2. Pour substrate into an empty aquarium before adding water.
3. Spread evenly or slope for desired aquascaping effect.
4. Slowly add pre-conditioned water to avoid disturbing the substrate.
5. Start planting once the substrate settles.
6. Use mineral sand if desired for enhanced aesthetics.
7. Monitor pH and GH levels over time.
8. Avoid using alkaline buffers or pH boosters.
9. Do not use undergravel filters.
10. Replace when buffering capacity decreases.
