DIRECTIONS

1. No rinsing required before use.
   
   
2. Pour substrate into an empty aquarium before adding water.
   
   
3. Spread evenly or slope from front to back for aquascaping.
   
   
4. Slowly add pre-conditioned water to avoid disturbing the substrate.
   
   
5. Begin planting once the substrate is settled.
   
   
6. If desired, use mineral sand for added aesthetics.
   
   
7. Avoid alkaline buffers as they may reduce the substrate’s effectiveness.
   
   
8. Do not use with undergravel filters.
   
   
9. Over time, the substrate will naturally decrease GH and pH.
   
   
10. Replace as needed when buffering capacity diminishes.
