Brightwell Aquatics Microvore is a high-performance suspension of microencapsulated marine proteins, fats, and carbohydrates designed to mimic the natural planktonic food found in tropical reef environments. Enhanced with essential amino acids, fatty acids, and immune-supporting vitamins, Microvore delivers the nourishment needed for healthy coral tissue, vibrant color, and energetic reef fish.
This formula is ideal for feeding a wide range of reef aquarium animals. It supports the feeding needs of both zooxanthellate and azooxanthellate corals, gorgonians, polyps, and anemones—particularly during nighttime when their tentacles extend for optimal prey capture. Additionally, Microvore is readily consumed by reef-associated fish that feed on suspended particles, including anthias, chromis, dartfish, wrasses, jawfish, cardinalfish, hawkfish, damselfish, angelfish, and tangs.
In nature, tropical reef waters are filled with invisible particles and tiny creatures that sustain the ecosystem. Microvore brings this to your aquarium with a shelf-stable, easy-to-use formula. It can be used to coax finicky feeders into eating and as part of a rotating feeding schedule to ensure diverse nutrition.
By offering a broad-spectrum blend of high-value nutrients, Microvore helps support growth, health, and coloration while reducing the need for excessive feeding—keeping water quality stable. DIRECTIONS
Before Feeding:
Shake well. Turn off protein skimmer and mechanical filtration. Wait 10–15 minutes after feeding before turning back on.
Target Feeding (Corals):
1. Use pipette or syringe to draw up food.
2. Slowly release 2–4" upstream of coral or polyp.
3. Use a dim flashlight for night feeding.
4. Feed after aquarium lights have been off for 1–2 hours.
5. Rinse all feeding tools before placing them back into the container.
Broadcast Feeding (Fishes):
1. Start with up to 2.5 ml per 50 gallons every other day.
2. Feed in an area with good water flow.
3. Gradually increase dosage if desired.
4. Do not exceed 5 ml total of liquid food per 50 gallons per day during first 4 weeks.

Rotate Microvore with other Brightwell foods for better variety and long-term nutrition.
