Brightwell Aquatics Potassion is a powerful ionic potassium supplement designed to restore and maintain ideal potassium levels in reef aquariums. Potassium plays a dual role: it helps corals grow by supporting the formation of aragonite, and enhances their color by contributing to pigment production. This is especially true for small-polyp stony corals (SPS), where vivid blue hues are often linked to proper potassium levels.

In ultra-low-nutrient systems or tanks using zeolite filtration, potassium can become depleted over time, which may reduce coral vibrancy and growth. Potassion contains 80,000 ppm of high-purity ionic potassium—more concentrated than most other products—making it an economical and effective choice. DIRECTIONS

Basic Use:

1. Shake well before use.

2. Add 5 ml per 50 gallons every other day.

3. Maintain potassium between 390–410 ppm.

Advanced Use:

1. Test potassium before dosing.

2. Each ml raises 1 gallon by ~21 ppm.

3. If potassium is low, dose up to 10 ml per 20 gallons daily.

4. Measure potassium daily for 1–2 weeks to track how much is used.

5. To find daily dose:

     ● Measure daily drop in potassium.

     ● Divide by 21.

     ● Multiply by system volume (gallons) = ml needed.

6. Daily dosing keeps levels more stable than weekly.
