Brightwell Aquatics Reef Blizzard-L is a premium powdered planktonic blend designed to enhance coral coloration, growth, and overall health in reef aquariums. This nutrient-dense food provides a diverse mix of marine zooplankton with essential proteins, omega fatty acids, and elements used in aragonite formation.
This versatile blend is suitable for LPS corals, planktivorous fish, and filter-feeding invertebrates, mimicking natural oceanic nutrition. It can be re-hydrated in aquarium water for better distribution or soaked in supplements like Coral Amino, Restor, and Vitamarin-C to further enhance coral feeding response.
Unlike liquid plankton alternatives, Reef Blizzard-L’s powdered form is cost-effective and long-lasting. It helps reduce nutrient waste, supports faster coral growth, and maximizes plankton absorption for reef inhabitants. For the best results, use with a rotational feeding approach, alternating with other Brightwell planktonic and particulate foods for a balanced reef diet.
DIRECTIONS
1. Keep container sealed and store in a dry place.
2. Use included spoon to measure the correct amount.
3. Mix 1 level spoon per 20 gallons of aquarium water daily.
4. Rehydrate in a cup of tank water for a few minutes.
5. Soak in supplements like Coral Amino for enhanced feeding.
6. Turn off protein skimmer before feeding.
7. Target-feed corals using a pipette or baster.
8. Or broadcast-feed by adding near a powerhead.
9. Resume skimming after 30 minutes to maintain water clarity.
10. Monitor feeding response and adjust dosage as needed.
