Brightwell Aquatics Reef Code B-P is an advanced alkalinity supplement designed to stabilize pH levels and maintain carbonate hardness (KH) in reef aquariums. Unlike basic KH boosters, Reef Code B-P is a multi-component buffer system that prevents pH swings and provides a steady supply of carbonate ions for coral growth.
When used with Reef Code A-P, this supplement creates an ionically balanced system, matching natural seawater ratios. It also eliminates KH instability caused by poor salt mixes and ineffective buffering products.
Ideal for SPS, LPS corals, clams, and reef-building organisms, Reef Code B-P ensures proper skeletal development and maintains long-term reef health. This phosphate- and silicate-free formula keeps water clear and stable without unwanted impurities.
For best results, use with Reef Code A-P as part of a two-part reef chemistry system.
DIRECTIONS
Basic Dosing:
1. Dissolve 20g per 8 oz purified water.
2. Stir until fully mixed.
3. Dose as needed to maintain KH (7-12 dKH).
Advanced Dosing:
1. Create stock solution: 30g per 8 oz purified water.
2. Each mL increases KH by ~1.0 dKH per gallon.
3. Test KH levels daily.
4. Adjust dosing based on KH depletion.
5. Use with Reef Code A-P for balanced alkalinity.
6. Do not mix directly with Reef Code A-P.
7. Allow at least 60 seconds between dosing solutions.
