Brightwell Aquatics Reef Blizzard-O is a high-quality, powdered blend of marine phytoplankton and zooplankton designed to support soft corals, clams, sponges, and other suspension-feeding invertebrates. This biopigment-rich formula provides essential proteins, omega fatty acids, and elements necessary for aragonite formation, enhancing growth, coloration, and overall health in reef aquariums.
This nutrient-dense formula is perfect for a variety of filter feeders, including colonial and solitary polyps, Tridacnid clams, scallops, feather dusters, and Christmas tree worms. It can be pre-soaked in Coral Amino, Restor, or Vitamarin-C to enhance plankton absorption and feeding efficiency.
Unlike liquid plankton options, Reef Blizzard-O’s dry form offers a cost-effective, long-lasting solution. By rehydrating in aquarium water before adding, the plankton disperses evenly, preventing waste and ensuring better uptake by corals and invertebrates. DIRECTIONS
1. Keep container sealed and store in a dry place.
2. Use the included spoon to measure the correct amount.
3. Mix 1 level spoon per 20 gallons of aquarium water daily.
4. Rehydrate in a cup of tank water before adding.
5. Optionally soak with CoralAmino for extra nutrition.
6. Turn off the protein skimmer before feeding.
7. Target-feed corals using a pipette or baster.
8. Or broadcast-feed by adding near a powerhead.
9. Resume skimming after 30 minutes to maintain water clarity.
10. Monitor feeding response and adjust dosage as needed.
