Brightwell Aquatics Regenerat-PHOR is a professional-grade solution used to restore the phosphate-binding efficiency of Brightwell PhosphatR resin. When phosphate adsorption media becomes saturated, its ability to reduce reactive phosphate levels drops- Regenerat-PHOR solves this by fully recharging the resin and preparing it for reuse.
Each use of this product regenerates up to 250 ml of PhosphatR resin, and one container can recharge multiple batches, allowing hobbyists to extend the life of their filtration media up to five full cycles. This dramatically reduces replacement costs and helps maintain long-term nutrient control in aquariums.
The solution is specially formulated to work with Brightwell’s PhosphatR media and should be used strictly outside the aquarium to avoid changes in water chemistry. Regenerat-PHOR is ideal for hobbyists managing high nutrient loads in reef, marine, or freshwater systems and who want reliable phosphate and silicate reduction over time.
Recharging resin regularly helps keep phosphate levels low, supports healthy water conditions, and ensures filters are working at peak efficiency. When used as directed, Regenerat-PHOR helps preserve system stability and improves water clarity across a wide range of aquarium environments.
DIRECTIONS
1. Always regenerate resin outside the aquarium.
2. Wear gloves and eye protection during handling.
3. Mix 200g Regenerat-PHOR with ½ gallon hot tap water in a clean container.
4. Place up to 250 ml of PhosphatR in a mesh bag.
5. Use a funnel or upside-down jug to pour solution slowly through the resin.
6. Discard used regeneration solution after it passes through the resin.
7. Rinse resin thoroughly with twice the amount of purified water.
8. Discard rinse water.
9. Resin is now ready to reuse.
10. Never return unrinsed resin directly to the aquarium.
