Ideal for large predatory marine carnivores, these versatile, nutrient rich squid cubes are enthusiastically eaten by an incredibly wide variety of freshwater fish such as boxfish, puffers, triggers, groupers, eels, lionfish, angels, butterflies, snappers, squirrelfish, wrasses, tusks, hawkfish and many others. The squid itself is uncooked, thoroughly cleaned, washed, hand cut and rinsed to ensure optimal cleanliness and the product has not been bleached with chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide or formaldehyde, both of which are commonly used to remove the skin and whiten squid at the same time. The colors of the squid chunks are caused by the thin skin still being present. Containing essential amino acids and polyunsaturated fatty acid DHA, which is a nutritious source of energy. Helps to enhance growth, intensify vibrant colorations and provide fish with a boost of energy.
