The (SW) Molly (Random Color), also known simply as the Saltwater Molly, is an incredibly versatile and hardy fish perfect for marine, brackish, and freshwater aquariums. Known for their active swimming and peaceful demeanor, these fish are a dynamic addition to any non-aggressive community tank.

Species Overview: Mollies are unique in their ability to readily adapt to a range of salinities. Acclimating these fish to a full saltwater environment makes them a practical "utility" fish for marine hobbyists, as they are tireless grazers and are effective at consuming many types of undesirable algae, including hair algae. They are an excellent starter fish and are very easy to feed.

Aquarium Care: Provide a tank with plenty of open swimming space. Because they are social and peaceful, they do best when kept in groups, preferably with a higher ratio of females to males. While they can coexist with many marine species, avoid housing them with very aggressive or predatory tank mates. They require a varied diet of quality algae flakes, pellets, and occasional frozen foods like brine or mysis shrimp.
